Huston was the daughter of John Huston and Enrica (a former ballerina) Huston. In the Irish province of County Wicklow the family moved in 1953 from California. The family moved the following season to an old manor in County Galway. Huston spent most of her youth living in a remote estate. Her father was away during long hours working on sets for films.
